All LAPL members are invited to come celebrate Mass with Fr. Billy Massie this coming Friday, December 2, 2022, at St. Edmond Catholic Church located at 4131 West Congress in Lafayette. Mass will begin at 7:00 a.m. and will be followed by coffee and biscuits in St. Edmond church hall. We thank landman Lewis Bernard for hosting this event. Fr. Massie was born in Abbeville, La., graduated from Vermillion Catholic High School and attended UL-Lafayette. He then spent 15 years in the oil and gas business as a petroleum landman before enrolling at Sacred Heart Seminary & School of Theology in Franklin, Wisconsin. Fr. Massie is currently serving as pastor of St. Ann Catholic Church in Mamou, LA.
