LAPL Safety Meeting & Hurricane Ida Donation Drive

With the recent devastation and hardship felt by many of our families and neighbors to the South and East due to Hurricane Ida, LAPL is asking that you come out and join us at the The Grouse Room downtown to visit and donate items for those in need. It is always a good time when we are able to come together, catch up and socialize, but its an even better time when we can help those less fortunate than us. The Grouse Room has been an official drop-off location for disaster relief donations since Ida's landfall, which has been coordinated with the Cajun Navy Ground Force. We'd like to help with those efforts.

Items currently being accepted include:

• bottled water
• food (frozen, refrigerated, or dry)
• personal hygiene items ( soap, toothpaste, feminine products, etc.)
• repair supplies (especially tarps and work gloves)
• diapers, bread
• clamshell serving trays
• utensil packets
• paper plates
