Oil & Gas Attorney Jasmine Bertrand Speaks at November Luncheon

"Calculation and Preparation of Division Orders and Related Issues" will be Jasmine Bertrand's topic at this month's LAPL luncheon at the Petroleum Club, Friday, Nov. 18. CPL credits will be given for attendance.

Bertrand has practiced in Onebane Law Firm's Oil & Gas section for six years. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in 1999, graduating summa cum laude. In 2005, she received her law degree, graduating magna cum laude, from Tulane Law School, where she was a managing editor of the Tulane Law Review. She was also elected Order of the Coif and received the Dean Rufus C. Harris Civil Law Award.

Her practice focuses primarily on title examination, transactional and curative work, and general mineral law advice, as well as elder law.

She is a member of the Lafayette Parish, Louisiana State and American Bar Associations, LAPL, AAPL, PLANO, the Ark-La-Tex Association of Petroleum Landmen, and that National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.

She is a native of St. Martinville, La.
