OIL & GAS SENIOR LANDMAN

 

Location:

·         Fort Worth, Texas

Privately held oil and gas company is seeking a results oriented Senior Landman with proven technical and business qualifications as follows:

·         Skilled in directing property acquisition and divestiture projects, negotiating purchase and sale agreements, preparing property exhibits, and coordinating integral data from various corporate departments.

·         Comprehensive background in hands-on technical collaboration with engineering/science professionals and key contributions in development of property packages.

·         Extensive experience in business planning/development, integrated project management, contract negotiation/administration, asset allocation, and loss prevention.

·         Versatile and solution oriented professional with keen business instincts; ability to plan and orchestrate complex projects concurrently.

·         Work closely with Land Manager in negotiation, preparation, and execution of oil and gas agreements. Prepare, review, and revise legal contracts for the exploration and production of oil and gas, i.e. operating agreements, farmout agree­ments, unit agreements,  confidentiality agreements, oil and gas leases, and assignments of leasehold interest.

·         Advise peers regarding participation in outside generated prospects and prepare agreements with third party operators.

 

Requirements:

·         A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Petroleum Land Management or closely related field preferred.

·         10+ years work experience in a comparable oil and gas land position.

·         Certified Professional Landman a plus.

·         Texas/Louisiana Gulf Coast and South Texas land experience preferred.

·         Self-motivated with ability to work efficiently, set priorities and interface with owners, partners, and in-house staff.

·         Team player with strong interpersonal skills.

·         Proficient analytical skills with accuracy/attention to details a must.

·         Strong written and oral communication skills.

·         Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel and land systems.
