As your AAPL Director, my primary responsibility is to represent the LAPL membership when it comes to AAPL policy.  I will be doing just that in a few days and would like to solicit feedback from the members in two areas:

AAPL members:  Many people have strong opinions when it comes to the recent decision to separate operations of NAPE from operations of the AAPL.  Please let me know if you would like to express your opinion, so that I can include it in the upcoming discussions.

LAPL/AAPL members:  Part of what I do is report on land activity in our region, including where most of our people are working, what type of work, industry day-rate levels, etc.  I would appreciate feedback in that regard, but am certainly not asking for specifics--simply impressions of where our membership is currently.
